No Way Out

Lost in a sea of endless torment,
frustrating currents,
anguishing laments.
When will it end?
When will I breath?
Suffocating, struggling,
longing to live!
I’ve reached the bottom,
is this the end?
can I return to the life I once lead?
I’m fighting the currents,
yet they still hold me back.
How can I beat them,
as they continue to attack?
I just want to live,
to be free to be happy.
Yet there’s no way out.
No way to escape.
Drowning, suffocating,
hoping and praying.
But no end will come,
there’s none but doubt
No life to live.
