VASILE'S AMAZING AMAZON ADVENTURE Beginning in September 2002, Vasile will attempt to become the first disabled person to traverse the Amazon River by land and boat. This adventure will begin high in the Andes of Peru and end at the mouth of the Amazon on the Brazilian coast. School children from around the world will be able to witness scenes of this great adventure, as well as write to Vasile, via Internet access. Special educational packets on Vasile's Amazing Amazon Adventure will be provided free of charge to any school that wishes to participate. (Contact amphionpro@yahoo.com for more details) Vasile's amazing adventure will be videotaped for a documentary called NO RIVER WIDE ENOUGH, to be produced by Amphion Productions of Los Angeles. This fall, Amphion is also taping a story of Vasile's life for use in BROKEN WINGS, a documentary series on extraordinary disabled people from around the world. |
