Our Special Long Hair Guest
This page is dedicated to special guests – women with very long hair whose photos were sent in as a contribution. This time our guest is Anita Abascal from California, U.S.A.:
NO BIG IMAGES HERE ANYMORE!
Anita Abascal was discovered by her photographer F.D. (who was a friend of Stan Shuttleworth) at the campus of the University of Southern California about 1963. Anita’s hair was 1,34 m long (53 inches). She did several photo sessions for F.D. – once in 1968 Stan Shuttleworth joined a session to shoot some own photos like this one.
Anita’s light blue dress adds a fine contrast to the flamboyant color of her hair in this Ektachrome slide.

Her braided hair had a weight of 3 pounds!

Her extremely thick mane of red-golden hair could cover her frame with rich waves down to her knees.
