- Harumaki and Gyoko. An old man and his aide, Ranma reminds him of his first love.
- Mariko Konjo. Martial Arts Cheerleader who vies for Kuno's love.
- Yohyo. A butler who seeks the girl who left a foot mark on his head.
- Shinnosuke and Grandfather. The guardians of Ryugenzawa.
- Yamata no Orochi. Legendary eight-headed dragon-guardian of the Spring of Life. In legend, the god Susano-O challenged the Orochi for the life of the moon princess, Kushinada. The end of the battle gave birth to the Kusanagi Sword, the Magatama Orb, and the Yata Mirror, the three Sacred Treasures of Japan.
- Phoenix. A stupid-looking bird that helps Kuno defeat Ranma.
- Dojo Destroyer. Name says it all, he challenges the Tendo Dojo.
- Possessing Oni and Monkey Priest. The dimwitted dynamic duo of possession.

- Miyo. A fortune teller that predicts Akane's marriage.
- Higuma Torajiro. Furinkan teacher who tries to get his students to enjoy life.
- Genji Heita. A one-time student of Happosai.
- Midori. Kindergarten teacher whom Happosai falls in love with.
- Gindo. A man who makes numerous predictions for Kuno.
- Yasukichi. Kasumi's childhood friend who tries to get her with Dr. Tofu.
- Uragishi Sankichi. The person whom the Tendos and Saotomes get in a shogi battle.
- 'Frog Man'. Yet another opponent for Ranma.
- Male Gymnastics Team. Guys who want to win gymnastics back as a guy sport.
- Crepe Chef Joe. Competition which steals Ukyo's customers. Inadvertently helps Ukyo become a better person in the process.
- Anna. Rancher girl whom Ryoga helped.
- Jikeiin Sotatsu. The one behind Martial Arts Handwriting.
- Toorima jiken. Terrorizes girls and claims to be Ranma.
- Kini. Cursed man who seeks to punish those who abuse their 'powers.'
- Shirokuro. Ryoga's dog, the only one who can find the way home.
- Midorgame (Mr. Turtle). Kodachi's pet alligator, name translates to 'green tortoise.'
- Armadillo. Kuno's little white dog.
