For so long I was just a broken shell
That marked time from day to day.
Now, my life is worth the "tell"…
As I gather wisdom and love your way.

You’ve taught me that I’m worth your love.
You’ve taught me that I’m worth my own.
You’re God’s precious gift from above;
My heart now has a home.

As one we face our different lives.
As one we are so strong.
As one we can handle all the strife
The world can bring along.

I thank God for your grace and wisdom.
I thank Him for all your love.
I thank Him for your strength and passion
Which I never seem to get enough of.

You hold my heart in your heart;
My soul you cradle in your hand.
I pray that we never ever part
Until the seas have all become sand.

I’ll love you for all eternity
And you know the reason why.
For when we cross this threshold of life
Our love will never die.

I’ll meet you at God’s heavenly door;
Where we’ll greet and love "hello".
We’ll join our hearts and hands once more
And our love through infinity will grow.
