Tipsy Black Walnut Pound Cake

pound butter

eggs

cups cake flour (reserve 1/4 cup)

1/2 cups granulated sugar

1/2 cups black walnuts - chopped
1/2
teaspoon salt

teaspoons baking powder
1
teaspoon vanilla extract
1
teaspoon black walnut extract
1/2
cup evaporated milk
1/2
cup Crown Royal bourbon
Cream butter. Add sugar and continue to
cream until fluffy. Add eggs one at the time and beat after each
addition. Add flavorings.
Combine evaporated milk and bourbon in
measuring cup.
Combine dry ingredients of flour, salt
and baking powder. Add dry ingredients alternately with milk and
bourbon mixture.
Coat nuts with reserved flour and fold by
hand into the batter
Place into a 10-inch tube pan and bake at
325 degrees for one hour and twenty minutes.
Glaze with powdered sugar glaze or frost
with cream cheese frosting and sprinkle with additional chopped
nuts.
