Chamonix- Indian Man here!!! Vernissage night. Meeting people is why I enjoy traveling around the world. Once a friend of mine went to Tibet and took hundreds of photos, but there were no people in his photos. It was like the world had died and gone silent. At a vernissage you meet people and have fun criticizing the art and the artist.
La nuit du vernissage. Rencontrer des gens est une des raisons qui me poussent à voyager autour du monde. Un de mes amis est allé au Tibet et en a rapporté des centaines de photos, mais il n'y avait pas de gens sur ces photos. C'étaiet comme si le monde venait de mourir et tout était silencieux. A un vernissage on rencontre des gens et on s'amuse à critiquer l'art et l'artiste. |

| In the backdrop of the beautiful Mont Blanc, there was an earthquake. I mean a real earthquake! SkyHawk is in Chamonix! There is a tunnel problem and no snow. I think the tunnel is a tragedy and people should be allowed to enter at their own risk. I was happy to meet so many world travelers - England to Australia, and even neighbors from USA, and a "long lost" friend from my school in Chicago. Cool! |

Avec le magnifique Mont Blanc en toile de fond, il y a eu un tremblement de terre. Je veux dire un VRAI tremblement de terre! SkyHawk est à Chamonix! Il y a un problème avec le tunnel et la neige manque à l'appel. Je trouve que ce tunnel est une tragédie et les gens ne devraient être autorisés à y entrer qu'à leurs risques et périls. Ca m'a fait plaisir de rencontrer des voyageurs du monde entier - de l'Angleterre à l'Australie, et même des voisins américains, et une vieille connaissance perdue de vue de mon école d'art à Chicago. Cool! |

art world is always at my door wondering what I'm up to. Well! Go to Chamonix and play in
the snow, or go to an art exhibition if you blow out your knee! I am thankful for the Alps
welcoming me. Remember to respect the mountains, and they will respect you. Respect. Le monde de l'art frappe toujours à ma porte pour voir ce que je fais.
