Slight Of Pen
Sincerely, Fraud
A letter emerged from within a young mind
Consisting of questions always ignored
Searching for answers of intellect bind
Hoping to sharpen his most valuable sword
The letter consisted of faith, life, and love
Among other factions of knowledge pursuit
The child was sure of the answers above
After having been raised as a religious recruit
And so did the waiting of the child commence
As each day had fallen the child grew older
And still no answers in the relative sense
Experience prevailed and connections grew colder
After having been grown the child was starved
Forced to discard what his parents had lied
Learning from life, not from what he was carved
Still sits a letter, to which was never replied
