Kirby Warrior is owned by Kirby Warrior. Dark, Black, and Hyper Kirby belong to their respective owners. Eejypoof and Waddle Daa belong to Eej and WaddleDooDaa. Kuro and Shiro Bomber are copyright (C)Halken. This FAQ was made by ShadowZX (also known as CyberZ74, ShadowZX74, MarthKun 74). DO NOT TAKE IT AND CLAIM IT AS YOUR OWN!! Only the following places are allowed to host this FAQ: GameFAQs (http://www.gamefaqs.com) Kirby's Rainbow Resort (http://www.classicgaming.com/kirby) The KWRPG Website (currently moving) Nintendo Masters Headquarters (http://www.angelfire.com/weird2/nintendomasters) If you, the reader, see this FAQ anywhere else, contact me at cyberz74@hotmail.com! ====================================================================== ms01 - Review ====================================================================== ShadowZX's Review of KWRPG -Plot: 7/10 This plot is actually good. Though you have to go to the website and read the story to understand it, it's still good. Kind of weird in some places, but still... -Gameplay: 4/10 This game is pretty straight-forward... In fact, there's little choice in what you do at all... *sigh* -Sound: N/A Since the computer I'm making the FAQ from has no Sound Card, I am unable to make a review for the sound. -Graphics: 8/10 The graphics are actually amazing for RPG Maker 95. The kirby designs are above par, and the houses that KW made are quite good. Now if only I was that good... ;_; -Bugs: 9/10 This game is pretty bug-free, but RPG Maker 95 just likes to sprout bugs out of nowhere, so a near-perfect score. Also, there's the slide glitch, but that's unavoidable unless you have a spare character slot. Stupid 8 character limit. -Overall: 6/10 Though this isn't the best of RPGs, it's the only Kirby RPG out there (or so I think). Keep em' coming, KW! Hopefully, KWRPG 2 will be better! ====================================================================== ch00 - Characters ====================================================================== -=Kirby Warrior=- (ch01) Bio: A strong fighter with a short temper for bad guys. He has many defenses, but no defense, against Sleep, Confuse, and Mute! ShadowZX adds: But I thought that you couldn't make weaknesses against status ailments in RM95. My personal opinion on KW is that the Cutter Hat is stylish. That and he is pretty well-rounded, but has some lousy skills. -=Dark Kirby=- (ch02) Bio: One of Kirby Warrior's best friends! He has evil power with a good heart! ShadowZX adds: And a liking to jump into pools of ink. Hehehe... This guy rocks! He starts off with a high level and he has some nice attacks, like Beam. -=Hyper Kirby=- (ch03) Bio: The fastest kirby, can run almost at the speed of light, but doing so can cause him to faint! He glows with a gold hue! ShadowZX adds: Oh I, love proper! puncuation? Hyper Kirby is a good character. His Mercury and Shut Up spell came in handy quite often. -=Eejypoof=- (ch04) Eejypoof is an optional character. You get him if you find the crystal in the Whisper Woods and give it to the Waddle Dee who lost it. I have only one thing to say about Eejy: WEAK! Until he gets Thunder Spark, he's pretty much a moving target! ====================================================================== wk00 - Walkthrough ====================================================================== -=Dreamland=- (wk01) You start the game next to Kirby Warrior's bed in his house. Open the chest to get a Max Tomato, then talk to Wadde, who is sitting at the table. He will say: "You are finally up! Like I said before, King Dedede's servant wants to see you!" Leave the house and go south. If you look at the sign, it will read "Dream Land Village (South)" Continue going south. Talk to the villagers and they'll talk about something evil going on in Whisper Woods. At the house to the west of the Inn, there is a Waddle Dee who lost a crystal. Make sure to stop at the Store/Inn, and buy a Robe, Small Shield, and helmet. You'll need them. Go east to King Dedede's Castle, and enter it. An aged Waddle Dee sitting at the throne will tell you: "I'm sorry, King Dedede isn't here right now, but he told me to tell you to find out what's wrong in Whisper Woods!" -=Whisper Woods=- (wk02) Browse around castle to learn some things. A word of warning: DO NOT FIGHT THE AGED WADDLE DEE IN THE EAST ROOM!! He'll kick your butt from here to Mecheye. But when you are done with that, just go west and into Whisper Woods, which no longer has the rocks blocking it. Wait until you are Level 2 before going any farther into Whisper Woods than the first area. ========================= |Enemy Data: Waddle Doo | |Recommended Level: 1 | |HP: 10 EXP: 2 | |Stars: 20 | |Drops: Grapes | ========================= |He can't hurt you much | |at all. Just wail at | |him, but beware his | |beam attack. | ========================= Once you reach Level 2, head back to the Store/Inn and heal yourself with the food. Go back to Whisper Woods and head a bit to the east (Well, actually, there's some junk to the west, but it isn't plot important). Far to the east in the second area is an empty space of land. Head south and try to find a space behind the trees and head west behind the trees. Get the crystal and head back out and back into the village. Give the crystal back to the Waddle Dee and he'll give you Eejy-Poof in return. Make sure to get some equipment for him and then head back into Whisper Woods. If you search around, you can get a Plas Plush, a Small Shield (Sell this), and some Leather Armor (Equip this on KW immediately!). Continue on until you find the exit. ========================= |Enemy Data: Bronto Burt| |Recommended Level: 2 | |HP: 10 EXP: 10 | |Stars: 20 | |Drops: N/A | ========================= |These guys don't have | |any special attacks, | |but their regular | |attack can damage you, | |so try to kill them | |quickly. | ========================= You'll find yourself back in the first area, only in a part you couldn't reach before. Heal yourself up and search the middle tree. Prepare for battle! ========================= |Boss Data: Whispy Woods| |Recommended Level: 4 | |HP: 65 EXP: 25 | |Stars: 30 | |Drops: Max Tomato | ========================= |This guy's a pushover. | |When he uses his Air | |Bubble attack, don't | |fret. It's only about | |7 to 10 damage. | ========================= After defeating Whispy Woods, head east. You'll appear back at the first area. Leave Whisper Woods and save. Head back to the castle and talk to the aged Waddle Dee at the throne. He'll tell you that Dedede headed off to Grape Garden. Leave the castle and head off to Grape Garden, which is no longer blocked off. -=Forest Castle=- (wk03) As you head south, you will find Waddle Dee village. Talk to the Waddle Dee at the gate and he refuses to let you in. Big deal. Keep on going south. Soon you will find Waddle Daa's house. Enter it. Check the diary. A part of the last page was torn off! Well, time to go exploring! But make sure to save first. The forest to the castle is extremely easy, so just keep moving forward. ========================= |Enemy Data: Waddle Dee | |Recommended Level: 5 | |HP: 25 EXP: 20 | |Stars: 30 | |Drops: Grapes | ========================= |These things are | |actually tougher than | |Waddle Doos! They don't| |have a special attack, | |but they are strong! | ========================= Once you reach the castle, save and head in. There are no enemies inside, but there are plenty of items (1 Poison Antidote, 10[!] Pep Brews, and 2 Max Tomatoes)! After you head through the southeast exit, you will be on the top floor of the castle. Heal up and enter battle! ========================= |Boss Data: Skl. Warrior| |Recommended Level: 6 | |HP: ?? EXP: 40 | |Stars: 500 | |Drops: Max Tomato | ========================= |MEEP! This guy uses the| |Beam Attack on a | |regular basis! But once| |in a while he uses the | |Shield Ability, but it | |doesn't matter. Maximum| |Firepower Recommended!!| ========================= After you defeat the Skeletal Warrior, head east and talk to Dark Kirby. He thanks you for saving him from the Skeletal Warrior, and wondering what was going on, then joins you. Then an olive-colored Kirby-like thing sneaks up, then runs. Weird. Continue on. -=Butter Building Cave=- (wk04) After exiting the castle, head east. The waddle dees will complain about Butter Building Town. Continue on east until you reach the cave. Enter it. Take the east route. ========================= |Enemy Data: W.Doo Team | |Recommended Level: 2 | |HP: 10 each EXP: 6 | |Stars: 60 | |Drops: Grapes | ========================= |They're only three | |Waddle Doos. Wail on | |them (which is easy), | |but be forewarned, the | |Beam attacks still do | |damage. | ========================= Eventually, you will find some stairs. Head down them and heal up, because (yes, you guessed it) it's time to fight a boss! ========================= |Boss Data: Heavy Mole | |Recommended Level: 8 | |HP: ?? EXP: 50 | |Stars: 500 | |Drops: Max Tomato | ========================= |Okay, this guy isn't | |extremely tough, but | |beware his Missile | |Attack! It can take a | |good half of Eejy's HP | |in one hit. Maximum | |Firepower Recommended!!| ========================= Once again, the olive Kirby-like thing spies on you once again. Just leave, there's nothing you can do. -=Butter Building=- (wk05) Once you enter, you'll notice that all the houses are locked up except for one. Head in there and read the papers. It tells you to look in the barrel. Look in the third barrel. You will be teleported to an underground refuge where the remaining villagers are. Talk to the Innkeeper (who is the farther one from the save box) and save. Also get some new equipment for your group (get one extra of all equipment), Then talk to the old geezer and listen to his story. Agree to help him, and he'll tell you a way to get into Butter Building. Yay! Head over to Butter Building, where you'll find Hyper Kirby. Talk to him and he'll join you if you tell him that you're here to defeat Mr. Shine and Mr. Bright. Equip him with the extras you (hopefully) got, then go into the well. Go through the spiral until you reach the stairs. Repeat. Once you enter the large area, just keep heading forward. Don't let the illusions disorient you. Once you get through that, just keep heading forward. Jeez, this place is straightforward. ========================= |Enemy Data: W.Deedoo | |Recommended Level: 6 | |HP: 10 & 25 EXP: 22 | |Stars: 50 | |Drops: Grapes | ========================= |A Waddle Dee and a | |Waddle Doo. Wail on | |them, but be | |forewarned, the Beam | |attack still does | |damage, just not much. | ========================= Okay, you've reached the top. Heal up and prepare to fight! ========================= |Boss Data: Mr.S & Mr.B | |Recommended Level: 10 | |HP: 200&150 EXP: 50 | |Stars: 500 | |Drops: Life Potion | ========================= |This battle actually | |needs some strategy. If| |you don't know what to | |do, follow my lead. | |Each turn, have KW use | |Fire Blast. Have Eejy | |(If you have him) use | |Thunder on Mr. Shine. | |Have DK use Beam on Mr.| |Shine. Then have HK use| |Shut Up on Mr. Shine. | |Do this until Mr. Shine| |is dead. Then do the | |same for Mr. Bright. | |Remember, you only need| |to use Shut Up if they | |aren't silenced. Use | |Mercury afterwards, | |then attack. | ========================= After defeating Mr. Bright and Mr. Shine, talk to them again. They'll apologize and ask if you need a lift. Say yes. Go back to the village and see that all is well. Heal, save, then go back through the cave. Head back to the crossroads, then head south. Enter the only house and pull the switch. -=Bubbly Clouds=- (wk06) Yay, you're in Bubbly Clouds. Talk to the villagers, buy new equipment (but it's expensive!), and then head east. There will be a Waddle Dee made of Stone at the entrance. Fight him, you don't have much of a choice. ========================= |Enemy Data: Chromedéé | |Recommended Level: 12 | |HP: 70 EXP: 40 | |Stars: 58 | |Drops: N/A | ========================= |These are somewhat hard| |due to their high power| |and protective ability.| |If you fight these if | |you are below Level 12,| |I recommend a maximum | |amount of firepower. | ========================= Once you enter, go through the hallway. In the next room, wind your way around the guards, unless you are level 15 or higher or are just here to level up. If you do wish to take out all the guards in the main room, you can get a level or two. Once you reach the staircase, use the crystal, there's no need to use the stairs. Heal up and prepare to fight Kracko! ========================= |Boss Data: Kracko | |Recommended Level: 13 | |HP: ?? EXP: ?? | |Stars: ?? | |Drops: ?? | ========================= |Kracko is by far the | |toughest boss in this | |game, so far. Have KW | |continuously use Fire | |Blast, DK healing those| |who are injured (attack| |if none), HK attack or | |heal, and Eejypoof use | |Thunder Spark. If you | |don't have Eejypoof at | |this point, turn around| and get him from the | |Waddle Dee at Dreamland| |Village! NOTE: Unless | |you are at the recomme-| |nded level, this battle| |will be drawn out. | |Also, Kracko sometimes | |uses a normal attack. | |This will do mucho | |damage to Eejy. Other- | |wise, Eejy will be inv-| |incible. | ========================= Kracko will explain what happened after getting possessed by the orb, and will apologize and give you instructions. Once you exit the room, if KW is dead, DO NOT GO ON THE SLOPE!! It will trigger the Game Over sequence because it takes out all characters but KW. Instead, use the stairs. Uh-huh. Yes. Use the stairs. What are you, chicken? Move it, soldier! I knew you'd see things my way. ^_^ ====================================================================== fq00 - Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) ====================================================================== Welcome, kiddies! This is the frequently asked questions section! Here I will answer some questions that come up from my head, on the boards, and questions sent to Dark Kirby! If you need help, cruise this section! Aren't exclamation points great!? -=ShadowZX's FAQ=- (fq01) Q. My game crashes when I open it, what do I do? A. Wait until Kirby Warrior releases an Rm2k version of KWRPG. Q. Where can I download the game? A. I'd say the Kirby Warrior RPG website, but it's currently moving. You can get it at Kirby's Rainbow Resort, however. ^_^ The link is in the disclaimer. Q. How do I move? A. Use the arrow keys on your keyboard, stupid. Q. I try to move, but nothing happens! A. Press Capslock on and off. If the light comes on and off, then the game's frozen. If there are no lights on your keyboard whatsoever, even when you tried Capslocking, plug your keyboard back in. If it is plugged in, get a new keyboard. Q. I can't stop moving up (or down, or left, or right)! A. If you have a joystick plugged in, close the game, shut down, and unplug it (or just skip right to unplugging it if it's a USB joystick). If that doesn't help, it's new keyboard time! Q. Help! I keep dying when I try to use the slide! A. Go back to that point, but DO NOT GO DOWN THE SLIDE. If KW died this time around and you have a Life Potion, use that and you're A.O.K. If there are no Life Potions handy, just use the stairs. The movement speed is the same either way. Q. u SuXx0rZ!!1111!!1! A. Why thank you. Now bug off. *PUNT* -=Msgboard FAQ, where questions are answered by the regulars=- (fq02) Q. I can't find the Fire Elemental Sister. IceFrostyDude sez: Follow the footprints to the water sister until you get to a set of footprints leading off the path going southeast. Follow it and you'll get there. Q. I can't beat Thorx with W. Daa, even though he's at level 70! What do I do? HyperKirby sez: Just try raising Daa to lv. 100. It's not that hard, it took me 8 minutes to reach that level. Then Thorx will be a sinch cause Daa knos all of his good move (Like S'pload). Q. I keep going round in circles in Whisper Woods! Could somebody tell me where I go to get to the next part of the game? Neptuneshalo sez: Once you get to the second part of the forest, head for a large cluster of trees. If memory serves me, there should be an indent in the cluster which will lead you to the end. Q. What is an easier way to kill the Skeleton Soul? Also, my party is beaten after fighting 5 or 6 Skeleton warriors... The Black Megaman sez: Well, here is how I did it. I had KW attack, Dark use Beam or Dark Beam (if you have it), let Hyper heal or recover MP, and have Black attack. Magicalmysterykirby adds: I used fire blast on it. This takes out 150+ HP. Q. I can't beat the bunny dude in Locstar! What do I do? Am I supposed to use the Graviton Ball? HyperKirby sez: Uh....what level are you on? It would help if you were on level 20 or higher. Use the Graviton Ball attack, thats why YOU HAVE IT. Graviton Ball deals alot of damage to the Bunny, and use shut up on him too. Oh, after the bunny guy, you'll run into Skeletal Warrior, and Skeletal Soul, use shut up on the soul, and just knock out the warrior. Q. How do you get to Bomber World? I've heard people talk about it. I've gotten 2 endings: the Jessica one and the Waddle Daa vs Thorx one. but I have never seen Bomber World. Omega Mage sez: This is how I did it, but there may be a different way. When you get to the Sand Castle, instead of destroying the Gordo, go to the top-left corner of the castle. After a while, you'll be in this strange place. Buy some items from Kaboo Goo's shop, then head north. Check the tree and fight the enemy there. Then you'll be transported to Bomber Planet. Q. Can I get EejyPoof after Chibi Thorx charges at the party? IceFrostyDude sez: No, you get him at the beginning of the game is Whisper Woods. You find this orb in the forest maze and then you give it to a person at the start out town. I don't remember who it is so talk to everybody. -=Dark Kirby's FAQ=- (fq03) Since I, ShadowZX, am still trying to contact Dark, this section will not be complete for a while. ====================================================================== ms02 - Credits ====================================================================== I shall thank GameFAQs for posting up various guides to games I had major trouble with.
