January 20/2002: I have a fire going in the fireplace just now, so I took a few pictures and put them together as an animation. Just the thing for the romantic nights by the computer! All you need to do is Sit by the Fire and you've got it made.
January 10/2002: Yet another picture of me. Sorry if it seems like I'm getting a little heavy on those pictures. This one is Oh, Canada, and I did it feeling rather patriotic. I have two more pictures of me ready to post, but I'm going to wait until my next creative drought so the wait between new works isn't so long.
January 9/2002: As promised, I've added a whole new category! There are four pictures already, and you can see the first one here. I'll be adding them to the Quick Directory later though. I just have too much other stuff to do right now.
I've also added a poster store as part of my AllPosters.com affiliation. I picked out several I like and/or find interesting to use for store images, but they have several thousand at their site.
January 4/2002: I just can't seem to stop myself, which is good news for the Gallery. I've added two new pictures of Tali, Tali in Blue and Shadow. Enjoy this creative streak while you can!
January 3/2002: I don't know what's getting into me all of a sudden. All this time between pictures, then out of the blue, a creative burst! The first one is a little something I made to amuse myself it's After the Glory and it's the first new addition to Random Acts of Art in some time. The second is also from a neglected category, Animations. It may be over a week late, but Happy Holidays! is my card to you.
January 1/2002: How about that? Two days in a row, today TWO more pictures, and they're self-portraits at that! Cosmic Tabby and Study in Tabby are the first new pictures of the new year!
December 31/2001: You don't think I could end the year without adding a picture, did you? It may be a bit more suited for Halloween, but Ghost is the latest addition to the PunkRockGirl wing of the Gallery.
My plans for this site in 2002 include bringing two new models on board, one of them being male (finally!), and a possible - though very minor - redesign. Even though the changes will be fairly small, they will be a lot of work so I'm not sure about it yet. I'm doing a website for a friend, and I need to concentrate on that for a while so I can get it done for her.
So have yourselves a happy New Year, and I'll see you all in 2002!
November 19/2001: NEW PICTURE!!! I did this one a few days ago, and finally got around to adding it today! Gaby Trio is it. I've just been putting so much of my creative energy into writing and website graphics and design, I haven't had much time for the art that got me started on all of this. Besides, I haven't been spending as much time at the computer as I did back when I created the Gallery. I'm sure that's a good thing...
October 31/2001: Rejoice, rejoice, for there is a brand new picture! It's in Other Media, and appropriate for today, it's called Happy Halloween! Enjoy it, and have a spooky day!
October 25/2001: I know, I know, I really need to add some pictures. It's been two months now!
I have finally got around to fixing a couple of things on the site though. First thing I did was merge two of the links pages into one, dropping a couple of the links. One of them is broken, the other I can't really recomment anymore. The second thing I did, and the one that was the most overdue, was reworking and updated the Quick Directory. Not only does it now list every picture in the Gallery, but it's better organized and now labelled. Go take a look, revisit some of your favourite pictures. I promise I'll try to get some more done soon.
August 30/2001: I just changed the chat page around, and with that goes the last of the original backgrounds I had on this site. The last vestige of the way it used to look is the plaque you see right above this. For those of you new to Tabby Gallery, that used to be on the entry page and was scrapped not even two weeks later for the current look.
August 25/2001: Tomorrow this site will be three months old, and I received an award just in time. You may have noticed the graphic above the menu on the main page. I'm happy and honoured.
I've also added a new picture,Study in Gabrielle that you can check out. I feel bad I don't add them more often, but I don't like the results as much when I force myself to work on a picture instead of just letting inspiration take me.
August 10/2001: Whoa! Sometimes I don't even notice how long it is between new pictures. Really, write to me at tabbygallery@angelfire.com to get updates in the mail. I'm going to put in an actual mailing list soon, so that'll make it easier, but for now I add people to my address book.
But there are three new pictures! Whoo hoo! Mickey, Serenity, and Oh, Gaby!
July 29/2001: Okay, so I may not be doing a whole lot of new work here, but I'm learning some fun stuff. I'm also keeping the Diaries up to date, so that's good. Anyway, usually when I write here it's because I have a new picture to share, and sure enough, I do! It's Faerie Magic and it's a new picture of Gabrielle.
I'm also been working with Flash, and you can see my first attempt at that by clicking here.
July 22/2001: Well, patience is to be rewarded. There's a whole new category with four brand new pictures. The category is for Gabrielle, and her first picture is Neon Gaby. Just click on the Next button to see the rest. I won't be adding them to the Quick Directory soon. I do the pages on this site in the basic editor, and I've run out of space. I need to convert that page or try something different.
I haven't gotten around to fixing that banner, but that's okay, because there's now a link to the Diaries in the Main Directory.
July 15/2001: I put a banner link to my Diaries site in the Other Links section, but I'm a little unhappy with it, so I'll be making a couple of small alterations.
There's a new picture of me in my category, it's Tabby Collage (and you can tell by the name it's really several pictures of me in one). People keep asking me to put a clear picture up. Well, this is as clear as it's gonna get, so enjoy!
July 12/2001: My roommates have got a new webcam for me to play with. The first product is a stop motion animation, My Hand in Motion. Stay tuned, because I've got more plans for this.
July 8/2001: Two days in a row. Not bad. Tattoo 3 is the newest in the Body Art Series, and it's in Flame's category.
I have another new picture ready to go, but it's waiting for the creation of a new category (ah! who could it be?).
I've finally finished work on one of my other sites. Sandra Bullock - An Unofficial Site is an experiement with a different style.
July 7/2001: I'm feeling a little like I've been neglecting this site, but then I consider that it's unreasonable for me to expect myself to be adding new pictures every day. But, I do have a new one. PunkRockGirl in Green is it.
July 3/2001: One of my new sites is now open to the public. The Tabby Diaries is different from what I've been doing. This one isn't about design or pictures, so it's hosted by a site that provide complete templates. It's a little strange having one where I didn't design the buttons or the backgrounds, but that's okay. That lets me conentrate on what it is about... the writing. There's also a link there that will take you to my other new site, Sandra Bullock - An Unofficial Site. That one is purely about design, but it's not done yet, so please don't judge it too harshly.
July 1/2001: A second entry in Other Media has been added. Flower is something different to what will normally be put in there.

June 27/2001: Yesterday Tabby Gallery enjoyed one month of being online. In four short weeks (that's all? Wow...) I have learned so much, and the Gallery has changed looks and grown. I've put in a new animation to commemorate (is that too pretentious a word for a hobby page?) this, Established.
I've been wanting to do something different with everything I've learned this past month, so I'm working on a new site now. I won't neglect the Gallery and I will continue to add new works, especially now with the scanner. The new site just gives me the opportunity to something almost completely unlike this. Once it's ready to be seen by the public, I'll let you know more about it and put in a link.
June 24/2001: Okay, LOTS of new pictures today, because I've now got a scanner to use. There are two of me (well, one is my hand) in the Tabby category, and two brand new categories, Photographs and Other Media. Altogether there are 12 new pictures, too many put links to in here, so to see them go and click on the buttons in the Main Directory. I need a break now, so I'll be putting all the pictures in the Quick Directory later.
June 23/2001: The links page is now redone. If you click on the Links button at the Main Directory it'll take you to a sub-menu now that lists 4 pages (one of them being the previously mentioned banner page). I did this to keep a sense of order to each page, and to make the links easier for you to find and choose among.
I've also got two new pictures in a new series created from body art. Tattoo 1 is one of Talitha's, and Tattoo 2 is one of PunkRockGirl's. The pictures are in their respective categories.
As you can see by recent additions, the Gallery is now open to the public, so if you have any friends who you think might appreciate it, please feel free to pass it on.
June 22/2001: I made myself make a picture. Church of Punk is it.
I may not have been doing much in the way of new pictures, but that doesn't mean I haven't been busy with the site. The Gallery is now affiliated with AllPosters.com, where you can get pretty much anything to put on your wall. Look soon for a poster page, with images I personally greatly enjoy.
I've also been working on getting involved with WebRings, to try and get the Tabby Gallery name out there.
On that subject, I've also created a banner page for people who want to do banner exchanges or just add me to their links. It's not finished, but you can check it out here, and use Back on your browser to return to this page.
I'm going to add another links page to place banners on, and maybe a third still for you, my beloved public, to add any links you'd like to share.
Finally, I may shortly be getting access to a scanner. When this happens, look for new categories with purer photography, some of my sketches and maybe even an early oil painting I made. This will also give me greater flexibility for animations. I am so looking forward to this new aid.
June 19/2001: Uh oh. I've hit a bit of a creative block. I have some pictures to work with, but I can't think of a thing to do with them. What ideas I do come up with require me to have my own digital camera, so I can go out and about with it.
Anyway, I did add a couple of new links today to a couple of really cool sites. Try them out, look around, surf a bit, and keep checking back here. It shouldn't take too long for inspiration to come to me again.
June 17/2001: I gave the guestbook a new look today. The white background was just too bright after looking at the other pages on the site. So if you haven't signed it yet, go do so!

(Several hours later...) I've done something different. I took some pictures of Talitha I wanted to do the barest minimum to, and there are six of them, so I have three per page on two pages. Portrait Series One and Portrait Series Two are both in her category.

June 15/2001: I made a new picture of Talitha. It's Dancing, and you know where it is.
I didn't like the picture I had on the front page, so you may have noticed I changed it. It took me a while to finally come up with something I did like, and yes, that is me in it.
I fixed the PunkRockGirl title for her pages, because I did not like the way it looked. I still have some work to do on all of those before I'm happy though.
June 14/2001: This is the longest I've gone to date between adding anything or making any changes. But I've got two new Flame pictures, New York Flame and Cat's Eyes, to make up for it.

June 9/2001: I finally got around to adding new animations. They are Doodle and What's On? and of course they're under Animations. Now if I can just come up with a background I like for the animation pages.
Okay, maybe I should wait to write that stuff, because not long after, I finally did backgrounds for the animations. I kept them consistant somewhat with the rest of the pages, but still gave them a look of their own. (Though I will be honest and say I prefer a couple of the animations against the plain white backdrop, but I like to keep the overall look constant.)

(After a good sleep and time spent doing other things...) Well, the first thing you may have noticed is that I redid the background now on the main menu, giving it the look of the rest of the site, except for TabbyChat and the animation pages. I'm still not sure I like it for that page though. If you'd like to see it changed back, e-mail me and let me know.
I finally added to the Warholish Series. This time it's PunkRockGirl in a darker version of the theme. I've called this one Nightlife.
June 6/2001: With the whole new look for most of the site and pictures still being added quite often, I thought this page might be a good idea.
The Tabby Gallery plaque above used to be on the front page, but was replaced. I still like it so I didn't want to delete it, and this is as good a place as any to keep in on display.
The latest picture is Hutkoffers, found in Random Acts of Art. Enjoy.
(Later that same day...) I redid the Links page to bring the look more in tune with the rest of the site. Now the only two pages with the old backgrounds are the Main Directory and TabbyChat (which was changed to the newer of the old backgrounds). I also added descriptions under the link buttons. The new background already changed the look which was the same as Main, so I figured this wasn't going to hurt any. Besides, it's always nice to know what a site is about before you click on a link to it.
Watch the eyes up in the ad bar. Sadly the original animation I did for it was too big, so I had to greatly simplify it. I might put the full version into the animation section. I'm not sure yet.
