Process and Prices

 

Portraits vary in size and composition based on the client’s desire.  The artist prefers to paint from photographic references, either produced by him or provided by the client.  The average time for production of a single-figure portrait is approximately two months.

 

·        These prices are guidelines.  Contract price will vary depending on size, number of subjects, and complexity of background and composition.

 

·        Inquire about a price quote for pet portraits or other paintings.

 

·        As an interesting and less expensive alternative to color portraiture, please inquire about black and white portraits.

 

·        To ensure placement on project calendar, clients are encouraged to book portraits six months to one year in advance of the desired completion date.  A nonrefundable twenty percent (20%) deposit is required.

 

·        Upon booking, initial photography sessions are promptly scheduled, followed by preliminary sketches provided for client approval.

 

·        Studio consultation is available by appointment.
