Kard XV The Devil
The Devil, kard XV, is ruled by Capricorn. Here the imagery is of two people chained to The Devil. It is the kard of materialism, of being chained to things. The necessity of aquiring more and more, just for the sake of accumulating. Greed. This kard can show tyranny, abuse of power, obstacles. Depression and moodiness can be present. Ironically this kard can also show a true bonding...a bonding between parent and child or that between spouses, even other family members. It is also a good kard for partnerships meaning each is coming to the table with equal value. Reversed: Overcoming addictions and bad habits. Generosity. Becoming unchained from a bad marriage or partnership.
Kard XVI The Tower
The Tower, kard XVI, ruled by Mars. Although the tower seems like a strong foundation it isn't. Lightning striking and toppling it has moved it off. The people are falling out. What seemed certain is not. What seemed strong is not. Notice the small windows, they represent narrow-mindedness. This kard can show a jolt in one's values. Freedom from outdated ideas. Time to shake the tree and see what shakes out. You could experience a drastic change, but it is most likely for the best. Reversed:You may shock others with some change in your personality. Imprisonment, oppression, accusations.
KardXVII The Star
The Star, kard XVII, ruled by Aquarius. Wish Upon a Star! This is the kard of wishes coming true. The woman of this kard shows her pouring water on land and in a stream. She is making things possible, creating a flow of ideas, possibilites. You may receive a gift or a kind gesture. Dreams will be fulfilled but not always exactly as you expected. Good health. Understanding. Reversed:Hopes extinquished. Tension. Minor health problems. NextPage
