The Rain Board This was a sporadically rainy/sunny day when LuLu ventured to the cemetery about 35 miles inland. When she turned the landscape opened up into a vast valley and there were three huge navy blue clouds with tails that nearly reached the horizon. Awesome.

The Mushroom Board May is Morel Month in the bluffs. They spring up among the trillium, jack-in-the-pulpit, and mayapples growing in the rich soil of Wisconsin. It's a big May stomping-in-the-woods ritual. The tasty magical morels are sauteed and eaten with wild turkey.
