Tibetan Teapot
An exceptional Tibetan teapot made of copper & brass measuring 9 inches wide and 10 inches in height. This item was made in the early 20th century. It is the details of this pot which are exceptional. From the tradional Tibetan cloud pattern which predominates the upper portion of the pot to the lotus petals which form the base. Other elments of note are a finely carved dragon handle and makara spout .The makara is a sea monster that has a crocodile's mouth and an elephant's trunk.
