I've wanted to do a montage/wallpaper of something by Mavis Applewater for ages. And you all know I've been meaning to do this pic for two months now. Well... I finally had the time to do it! The choice of image? The Brass Ring.

The thing that I like best about Mavis's long stories is simply the story. She uses characters that are very down to earth and easy to relate to. Why easy? Well, she does a helluva job with making the reader feel through and for the characters. And the element of surprise in the cliffhangers (frustrating ones!), makes you beg for more.

Ah, one more thing; -she's not evil. She's just damn good.
