April Assignments

Week of April 27 - May 3 2003

This is late. I actually did the assignment, then had to rush off to the hospital. Don't worry, I'm fine. It was just one of those things. Anyhow, I was interested in doing some new signature tags. First, I found this great rose signature tag.

Then I found one that worked for another project I'm doing under my "usual" handle, Deoris. It has a water theme, and this played right into my hands.

Week of April 20 - 26

Elegant Hearts by Jane Braz

Had too good a time with these. I had trouble with the bows, but I think I got it worked out enough to call it good. I was kind of impressed with the textures. The plaid was a grayscale that I colored. The "glassy" looking thing is a pattern of stars that I actually DID turn "glass". The effect was...really cool.

Week of April 13 - 19

Framed Globe Tutorial by Bubbles PSP

Can you say "OOOOOH!" cause I sure can. I was very glad to have done this one. It turned out wonderfully.

This was easy and turned out beautifully. I can see myself doing a lot more of these in the future. :)

Week of April 6 - 12

Making Plaid Backgrounds by Kat House Designs

Well, I love plaid, so I couldn't resist doing this one. It was my intention to do bunnies, too, but I never made it. But hey, the plaid is easy and fun. I love it.

As you can see, I added a Screen Works "light gauze" to the project, giving it a more "sewn" look.

This time, I added a Texturizer for burlap, as well as a Screen Works "fabric weave" (I think). I really like how this one turned out.

I did this one just before I posted, since I saw a cool color scheme in pinks and pastels while at the store just a short time ago. This one has Screen Works "pixel shade" I believe.

Bunney's Brush Stroke Frame - by Bunney's PSP Tutorials

All I really have to say about this tutorial is: booyeah! Yeehaw!

Yeah, I'll be using this one a lot. I LOVE it. :)
