Coloring and shading until the final product is here!

More coloring is done. I actually found out a nifty shading technique (which probably everyone but me knows about) involving secelcting a small area with the magic wand tool, or lasso for more fine control. This will prevent you from painting outside the selected area - allowing you a bit of free reign with the mouse. :)
Notice I first used it on the skulls and bones of the pillar, to see it's effect.

Ditzi gets a lot of shading now! It looks great, using the brush and a 'fuzzy' selection for it allowed me a lot of blending options. By this point she's just about done, and I hit the 'web to find a nice background picture for her to be spliced onto.

The background is an old Myan temple - pretty appropriate for a necromancer! I could have found something more dreary I suppose - but gnomes are a lighthearted and playful race, even at their most evil.
Besides, I love the plants and jungle creeping in on it. :D
This is it, the finished product!
There are things I'd change though.I messed up on the top and the bottom of the pillar for one. Also, the Letters looked okay on a white background, but sort of blended into it. Next time I'll try adding the text with Photoshop - or change the color.
