Cake Decorating 101
Cake Of The Month
To submit or vote for the cake of the month:
You MUST be a member of the cake decorating 101 group and then you MUST join the sister group called cd101cotm. You can join by sending a blank e mail to cd101cotm-subscribe@yahoogroups.com.
This new group (cd101cotm) is ONLY for the cake of the month contests. You will not get much mail from this group, other than the poll announcements and information.
Each member is responsible for submitting their own cake in the contest. There will be a folder set up for the contest and you simply upload your photo to that folder.
The Rules:
* Each member can only enter ONE cake/photo per contest.
* You MUST be the one who decorated the cake. You could have done it yesterday or 10 years ago, as long as you are the one who decorated it.
* In the title, please add your name or other unique description. If you choose not to put your name, you must let me know who you are in the event your cake wins as I can't keep track of who is who by e mail address or yahoo ID's.
* You may put additional information in the "description" part if you like.
* Cakes that have won 1st place in previous contests may not be entered again.
There will be a monthly contest and then smaller contests.
* Each "monthly" contest will run from the first of each month until around the 25th. The poll will be set up around the 25th of the month allowing a week to vote. On the last day of the month, the poll will close and the winner will be announced. The winning picture will be displayed on our group's home page.
* The smaller contests will run just a couple of days, so you need to be quick to enter and vote. Watch for the various themes for these contests and have fun!
There are no prizes awarded, this contest is simply for fun. ALL winning photos will be listed below.
