Smallville.

I never gave it a thought until this past week and a half.

A friend of my 16 yr old mailed us the full first season on dvd to borrow, then send back. Bethany begged us to watch the first episode with her.

That was basically where it all went wrong fast. Now we can't stop watching it. Every time we hear the theme song wailing, "Somebody saaaaaave meeeee," we come like obedient slaves and watch disk after disk of Smallville weirdness. lol It's soooo predictable and has such wacked out characters (people affected by the meteor shower that brought little Clark to Earth) but we love it. My question is, does anyone have season 2????? *Pfft*

many of the bar scenes and nighttime chase scenes in smallville were filmed in front of our apartment complex in vancouver. now, we have never seen smallville, but we used to get notices that the road would be closed or there would be bright lights at night. we could just sit in noahs room, look out the window, and watch them film on the street. maybe i should watch it sometime. :)

Wow, that is cool and intrusive at the same time. They must have been loud! I never knew the premise of the show til I saw the first episode. A meteor hit the town...out in the corn fields...and it was full of kryptonite (which they don't call kryptonite yet). So the meteor explosion had weird affects on the people there. That is why Superman has so many weird enemies. Also during the storm, clark came to earth in a capsule and so I guess he is an alien. lol

I don't know why I think it is so interesting to watch....maybe I'm just weird. ;)

Oh, Smallville is great. I should say, it WAS great. The first two seasons we were so addicted. The third starts to get racier, and now they are pretty wild and no longer family fare. For a while, it was so good.

Joann, yikes. I hate it when shows do that !!! Gilmore Girls is like that too....such a good show til the 5th *I think* season.
