It is a building in Jerusalem, near the Temple mount. All the buildings we saw in Israel are built of this material (unless it was cement)....a whitish stone quarried there locally.

No filters were used, the sky really was that deep. The wispy clouds reminded me of the cloud that Elijah saw which turned into a storm and brought rain tot he land. But the expectancy in Jerusalem, is for the Messiah. It was my first thought when thinking of a title for this photo.
