My friend Edith is 80 years old. She looks 20 years younger than she is, she goes on oversea trips, hikes the mountains around her small cowboy town and is as limber as a teenager.

These items are on her front porch. The boots (only half are shown) all belonged to her late husband. He was a sheep rancher and used up a lot of boots over the years. The Coke bottles are just one of her many antique-ish Americana collections.

Very cool shots, Crickl. I have to say - coke in the bottle tastes much better than in the can (although I used to drink Pepsi *grin*)
I love the collection of cowboy boots. I which I could be a really cool pair - used to have one...Maybe I should put that on my shopping/wish list.

Bobbie, yes, they had a great marriage. Love, respect and fun! (not to mention hard work...she was out there with the sheep too!)

Thank you Iris! I just had to get that shot of the Coke bottles. It was so nostalgic. I agree about the taste!

e-mom, her house is full of cowboy stuff....mostly her husband's and some just collected. It's like an old west museum. Very cool!

Beckie...Edith is a wonderful friend, surrogate gramma to my kids and active church member from the church we just moved from. I miss her!
