Sorry that these notebook pages are so blurry. My scanner let me down. Basically if a plane travels from A to B and C (the ear) is the listener, the sound generated at point D shoots a sonic boom toward earth. AC/Vs>AD/V+DC/Vs. V=the plane's speed. Got it?
