Harui is a lovely syrucus dragon. She is trapped in a human form. Years ago, Kiyo, Harui's ancestor, killed a priest out of spite. The oracle was enraged. So she cursed the dragon to be trapped in a human until Kiyo breaks the dragon stone. Years later, the curse still goes on strong. Harui is stubborn and cranky. She, Reggie, and Toson fight like children. Harui secretly loves Reggie and is too stubborn to admit it. She has a chain around her waist. Reggie and Toson keep her in line by yelling "Down" and Harui floats up and down to the ground, causing a huge hole.

    Reggie is a fine young man. He loves girls and the beach. Reggie had a normal life until the first day of school. He and his brother got lost and walked through a force field tunnel. The boys ended up in the revolution times. Now, Reggie must help Harui break her ancient family curse and get home. There may be some sexual tension between him and Harui.

    Toson is Reggie's younger brother. He is a little bit weaker than Reggie. Toson is whiny and a little brat. He and Harui fight all of the time. Toson may be a little brat at first, but as the series goes on, he matures into a young man.

    Kuro-Ryo is an evil ancient dragon. He is the villain in the series. He is the reason for Harui's curse. You see, Kuro-Ryo possessed Kiyo and made her kill the priest to weaken her. All went well until the oracle caught him too and permanently blinded him. Now, Kuro-Ryo is hunting the trio down to kill them.

    The farmer helps our crew along their journey. He appears everywhere. The farmer is a bit of a creep and hits on Harui every chance he gets. But she always beats the crap out of him!

    Baba is the wise old woman in the series. She randomly pops out anywhere she likes. Harui calls Baba an old hag. Baba is the reason Harui has her chain around her waist.
