Aphrodite was at a party when her misadventure began. One of the demons in Mount Olympus slipped a powerful sleeping pill into her wine. The goddess drank it and fell into a coma. Days later, Aphrodite awoke in an apartment room..... as a human! The poor goddess was looking around confused, she heard someone coming in the room. So Aphrodite lied back down and pretended to still be out could. She peeked under the sheets and saw a handsome looking man get his camera ready for work. He looked over and saw his lovely guest awake. Aphrodite explained her story to him but he didn't believe her. Now trapped in the living as a human, Aphrodite is now trying to get back to her Mount Olympus, without most of her powers.

But he has agreed to help her get home under one condition: if she models for him for his projects. Odysseus is a photographer for the best photo companies, Claudia Flash, in Greece. He's taken stress and chaos before. But can he take Aphrodite, Butterfly, Dido, and all of the other mystics that dance into his life? That's a challenge.

When Aphrodite went missing, Butterfly was the first one to search for her. She found her mistress in Athens, Greece. Now Butterfly and her sister, Dido, have to try and get their mistress home. All while driving Aphrodite and Odysseus insane! He looked over and saw his lovely guest awake. Aphrodite explained her story to him but he didn't believe her. Butterfly travels through air and has huge butterfly wings. She is also a forest nymph.

Dido is Aphrodite's other hand maiden. She is Butterfly's older sister. Dido is also scattered-brain, just as much as her sis. When the two are together, they both drive Aphrodite and Odysseys nuts! Dido is more feisty than Butterfly but yet Dido is a kitten. She is a water nymph. Both Dido and Butterfly fight together side by side. She travels by water and floats. Dido is boy-crazy and likes swimming. She wonders why Jesse is so mean to her and her sister all the time.

Mars is the main reason for Aphrodite's troubles. He is the one who slipped the pill into her wine at the party. Once Aphrodite was out cold, Mars kidnapped her and took her to the living realm. Now he serves just to torture the goddess to no end. Why is he doing this? One answer: revenge. Yes folks! Days earlier, Aphrodite set Mars up on a date with her, but she jolted him in reality. Humiliated, Mars sworn revenge upon the goddess. Now, he happily watches Aphrodite suffer as she tries to get home again.

He doesn't take kindly to Odysseus at first and wants to kill him. But then Marcus's trust for the his human host grows and they become friends. The demimortal even finds Odysseus a woman to love him forever. Marcus is so foxy that every woman in Athens wants. He can't stand Dido or Butterfly either.

He also wants to slap both Butterfly and Dido around for their stupidity. Jesse thinks Mars is a complete jerk as well. The bar tender in completely dogmatic about everyone and everything in life.
