I grew up on rural acreage, surrounded by nature, and I guess nature is what inspires me the most. As a child I knew faeries existed and would construct little houses for them using moss, leaves and bark. In my paintings I hold onto that child-like wonder and belief. My artistic style can be described as somewhat surreal and fantastical, evoking the old school illustrators from the Victorian era.
