Description:
The doll I chose to use for this contest is a Steffie head on a Surf City body. I have named her Ramona. I used a red stretch crushed velvet, contrasting glass seed and bugle beads in long strands and handmade jewelry using the same beads. I added just a streak of light hair and boil permed and styled her original hair. The face has been completely repainted and sealed and rooted eyelashes.

About The Artist:
I have been customizing dolls for about three years now. I started with Barbie but really did more extreme makeovers on Jem dolls I primarily do repaints on larger fashion dolls but I still do Barbie and other smaller dolls. I have been a retail jeweler for about 25 years and it is still my real job.
