Witch Hunter Robin, Robin
And this would be my second cosplay making experience. It was my first look into just how wonderful hot glue really is, lol. First of all, this cosplay was incredibly cheap. How? Well, we started with a long black formal dress that we borrowed from someone, so that was free. We then bought a black blouse from a thrift store and altered it to look like the top of Robin's dress (fixed the sleeves, even though we did them both different ways on accident which looked kinda funny if ya noticed it, lol, and added some lace). And lastly, we bought a large black jumper to make the, uh, part with the straps out of. I ended up making it a little tight, but she said it was ok so I didnt try to fix it. Then all that was left was the hair. I love he idea I came up with, and it is so ghetto! The secret: plastic forks! You have to break off the heads and reattach them to the handle part so that it forms a sort of T shape. The teeth of the fork then work as a comb to stay in place and ends up being quite comfortable, or so she led me to believe. My best idea yet. Ever, lol. The saddest part about this costume is that if we ever want to wear it again, we have to go buy a black formal dress. ^_^;;
