"You're such an ignoramous!" Marc shouted to the brown-haired boy that stood just a few feet away.
"Well, at least I'm not indolent," snapped Ty angrily at the blue-eyed blonde.
"Now Ty," began Ignatius, who preferred going by Iggy, "You know that was an invalid retort."
"This whole arguement is folly," Sara spoke up.
"Yeah, well if Marc weren't such an impediment to the rest of the group, it'd be so much easier for us," Ty said, crossing his arms over his chest. "We could have found all of the keys by now if it weren't for his detrimental advice."
"Come on, guys, "sighed Job as he pushed his glasses back onto his nose, "Give it a rest already."
"Yeah, will there never be harmony between the two of you?" asked JC. He looked up pleadingly at his older brother, Marc.
"Things really need to ameliorate for you before the group can go on," Sara added.
Marc and Ty glared at each other silently. The rest of the group smiled, realizing the momentary truce.
"Prodigious," thought Iggy happily.
"Um, I would have loved to join in on the conversation, but I seemed to be the only one that left their thesaurus at home. But, since it seems like everything's okay now, can we retire for the night?" Missy asked with a smile.
Turning to the pink clad girl, Ty nodded and said, "All right. This looks like as good a spot as any. I'll take the first watch."
The rest of the group nodded and laid down on the ground to sleep for the night.
But something was watching them...
