Class Expectations

A

Attitude: Come in quietly prepared to work hard. Get supplies, take your seat, and start your project.

R

Respect: Respect yourself, your classmates, the teacher and this room.

T

Trust and Tolerance: Trust yourself and your skills. Treat everyone with kindness.

1. Abide by schools rules.
2. Clean up after yourself – Art is messy, and we will need to work together to keep the studio clean. All sinks and tables will need to be cleaned and dried daily. You are responsible for the entire table, not just the spot where you sit. Work together.
3. Students will be assigned additional clean-up tasks on a daily basis.
4. Treat tools and equipment with respect -- Art tools are expensive and not easily replaced, so clean tools and put them back where they belong.
5. Work safely -- Use tools and materials correctly!!! There are machines used in this class that are extremely dangerous when mishandled.

No throwing clay, supplies, and no Horseplay!!!!!

6. Do not touch other people’s work -- Look but do not touch. Accidental or purposeful breakage will result in automatic referral and possible removal from class.
7. Students are not allowed to use the phone -- Take care of any phone needs between classes or at lunch.
