Chapter 8 - Finding the Gateways
The Great Dragon Kouros
At their dimension, All GSG's mighty armies stood their ground as the Griffins attacked. Flames from the arrows of Liberation army and spears from the Imperial army rained on them and the fighting was fierce and long.
The Red and Blue Knights fought with their mighty swords making the Griffin numbers begin to decrease.
One by one the Griffins fell and they started to retreat into the next hill.
GSG's armies rest one full day and during this time the great hawk Kabashu recovered.
The next day,
Stealth,Souleater,JetEnduro,Hisashi,Aya10 all looked at the great hawk as he stood up to his fullest height,spreading his wings as he yawned.
"Its time to open the door to this dimension, but it wont be easy,"said the great Kabashu.
With his horde of eagles, GSG's armies rode the great birds up into the sky and they flew up, up, up until they reached a gate made of gold.
Kabashu: This is the gateway, insert the key and we will be going to the real world!!
Souleater instructs Hisashi to insert the golden key and as the gate opens, a thunderclap sounds.
"Who dares enter my domain?" A booming voice was heard.
Everyone stares at the Giant Dragon that sits on top of a peak. "I am Kouros, LOrd of this domain! You must fight me to get out of here or die!!"
GSG armies get ready to battle.
The Liberation army ,Red and Blue Knights,and Imperial army are busy fighting Kouros, the mighty Dragon.
Everytime they tried to go near him, Kouros mighty wings would just sweep them back.
Kabashu calls his birds: Let us fly and attack Kouros, it will give the GSG's a better chance!!
The clashing of swords was heard as everyone tried to kill Kouros while the big birds of prey led by Kabashu attacked him from the air!
Kouros would blow fire holding back the GSG's and his mighty claws struck at the flying eagles, wounding some.
Souleater: He is hard to kill!! We must try something else!
Miyu: Yes, Stealth what do u suggest?
Stealth: We still have our powers! Let us use them against Kouros!
The GSG's get ready to use any power they have.
The GSG's attack Kouros repeatedly but Kouros still remained strong. It puzzled d GSG's.
As Stealth,souleater,Yasunari and Miyu size up Kouros,
Miyu notices smething.
Miyu: Notice his eyes.....they keep changing color!
Stealth: So what about it?
Miyu: His eyes are red but there is a time it changes to yellow..........there is something there!
Souleater: lets keep using our powers! we may weaken him.
Souleater casts her rune power and Kouros fights back, blowing fire at souleater. She is blown back but she is able to recover.
Stealth calls Kabashu: Let me ride you! As Souleater, Yasunari and their units attack Kouros, we fight from d air!
Stealth and Kabashu fly up high in the air as the GSG's move forward attacking Kouros with all their might.
Stealth throws his spear and suddenly Kouros buckles!
Aiiiieeeeeeiiiiiiiiiiiii!
Shaking its head angrily, Kouros looks at his wounded shoulder. Stealth's spear is imbedded on his shoulder, spurting blood.
Stealth: I did it!
Yasunari: Look! His eyes are yellow!
Miyu: Thats it! when his eyes are yellow, he can be hurt!!!
Kouros flies up in the air and clashes with Kabashu.
Miyu,Souleater and Yasunari order all their units to stand by.
Souleater: Wait for our command to attack! We will kill this beast yet! Ready! Liberation army!
Yasunari: Ready! Imperial army!!!
Miyu: Ready! Red knights!!
Stealth: Aya10, get the blue knights ready!!!
Aya10: We are ready, sir Stealth!!!
As Stealth and Kabashu circle the giant dragon, Stealth quickly signals the GSG's.
Stealth: His eyes are now yellow! Attack!!!
Before Kouros could move,spears and arrows hit him from all angles as GSG's armies attack.
The leaders swung their swords at him and after a few seconds, Kouros falls to the ground, dead, bleeding!!
The GSG's rejoice!
Kabashu: The GSG's have won! We can get out of these dimension!
Suddenly a blinding flash of light surrounds them.
Miyu: What the....?
Souleater: Whats going on?
Yasunari: I can't see!
The blinding light slowly grows dimmer and dimmer and there before them stood a tall, handsome knight in full armor and behind him a vast army of knights.
Stealth: Kabashu??
Kabashu: Thank you my good friends! My army and I are restored to our true selves. You have released us frm the curse! Now, we can lead you out of this dimension!
Stealth: Lead the way Kabashu!
As Kabashu turns to lead the GSG's to the gateway, they all notice a mark on Kabashu's neck................
a golden ring!
