Ayundor's Test
Nanami and Kulitkoh run away from the dying serpent and then Kulitkoh looks ahead.
Kulitkoh: Look there's a castle!
Nanami: Ok, lets go there!!! hmmm u first!
They look around them anxiously. As they go near the dark castle they see two ring symbols on the doors.
Nanmi: what does this mean?
Kulitkoh: Lets find out.
They knock on the doors.
The doors suddenly swing open and a ghastly mangled creature comes out to meet them. She has only 1 eye and she has horns on her head and she wears a black cape covering her whole body.
Her mangled nails are long and she summons them inside.
Creature: I see you both are lost. Come in!
Her breath hissing and her voice crackled and raspy.
Nanami: Yikes! parang manananggal naman ito!
Kulitkoh" ssssh, be quiet! she could be a friend.
Nanmi: What??? a friend? look how horrible she looks!
Kulitkoh shakes her head.
Kulitkoh: There is something about her eyes....este eye! she doesn't look evil even if she is ugly!
Nanami still didnt trust the horrible creature.
Creature: I am Alvania, I was cursed by Ferciol to be imprisoned in this castle. I was his magistrate and his adviser but I was betrayed and tortured by his present magistrate, Bashani! I want my revenge as well as your wanting to win against Ferciol!!
Nanami: Oh ok......prove it!
Alvania: I possess the key to this dimension but Kulitkoh and you have a task to perform before u can get out of here. I will also be released from my curse if u win this task!
Kulitkoh and Nanami look puzzled. What was the task?
Nanami and Kulitkoh listen to Alvania carefully.
Alvania: Go to this desert nearby and look for Ayundor....he is the task!
Also bring this water canisters to get the water.
Nanami and Kulitkoh look at each other.
Who is Ayundor?
Alvania gives them a map and Nanami and Kulitkoh proceed towards the Red Desert.
After hours of walking, Kulitkoh stops to rest and Nanami spots an oasis.
Nanami: Look! there's water!
The two girls run to get the water but a lion suddenly appears.
Lion: Halt! Who goes there?
Nanami: Its us! Nanami and Kulitkoh.. who are you?
Lion: I am Ayundor, Guardian of the Holy Oasis.
Kulitkoh: (frowning) Holy? whats so holy about it?
Nanami: Maybe he's just kidding!
Ayundor: No one drinks from this water!! It is so pure that only good and pure souls can take it!!
Nanami: We are pure!
Kulitkoh (laughs out loud) uhmmmmm, not that pure! Nanami!
Ayundor: I thought so! Get out of here! You cannot drink form this water!
Kulitkoh: But we want to get out of this dimension! We have to take this water!
Nanami takes out her sword and swings at the Lion but Ayundor breaks her sword in half!!
Ayundor: Better luck next time!
Kulitkoh gets her dagger and throws it at Ayundor who only swipes it frm her hand.
Ayundor: Ahahahahahaha! I told u your weapons are useless!
Nanami looks around and suddenly she realizes what was needed. Heavy branches from the palm trees around them hung above them, close to their heads.
Getting her axe, she swings at the branches and all of them come tumbling over Ayundor!
He is knocked out cold!
Kulitkoh: Quick! get your canisters and fill them up with water!
Nanami and Kulitkoh finish getting the water. As they head out towards Alvania's castle, they hear a low groan.
Ayundor: Pls help me! I cannot move. I will die here!
Nanami: He is going to kill us!
Kulitkoh: We cannot trust him!
But as the groaning continues........Nanami and Kulitkoh realize they had to do the right thing.
They came back and started removing the heavy branches, releasing the injured Ayundor. Nanami and Kulitkoh bandage his injuries.
As Nanami and Kulitkoh turn to leave, they hear a laugh.
Kulitkoh: What now?
Ayundor: U thought that water was your task......as Alvania said " I AM YOUR TASK!" becoz of ur kindness in helping me, I give u permission to take all the water you want!
Nanami: But we already took the water, whats the difference?
Ayundor: the difference is, if u left me without helping me, your water will turn to sand! Many times those who tried to escape this dimension , they have left me to die but instead they failed! You, on the other hand, turned back to help me even if u thought I was going to kill you! That showed pureness of heart!
Bring the holy water to Alvania........she will bring you out of this dimension!
Nanami and Kulitkoh rejoice!
As they run back to the castle, they enter shouting,"Alvania! Alvania! we got the holy water!!
Alvania came out to greet them.
"You have the holy water! At last! I will be free of my curse!"....Alvania drinks the holy water.
Suddenly, a bright blue aura covers Alvania and she disappears!
Kulitkoh and Nanami look around, wondering what happened to her.
They hear a sound and then out of the great hall, a beautiful maiden came out. The two girls stare, unbelieving....the beautiful maiden was Alvania!!
Alvania hugged both girls happily,
as she did so, Kulitkoh and Nanami see the mark of a "golden ring" at the back of her neck!!
The three run towards the gateway.
Nanami, Kulitkoh and Alvania reach a waterfall.
Alvania: There is a rock behind that waterfall. It is the gateway!
She gives the key to Nanami.
The three pass thru the waterfall and they see a huge boulder with a silver lock. Nanami inserts the key.
Kulitkoh: It is opening! We are safe!
The three excitedly pass thru the gateway......back to the real world..
