another customer's...
This jeep was
already built and recently changed hands.
The new owner
wanted to change a few things and then rework it all so to
look nice.
The body had
been decorated with aluminum diamond plated graphics.
Causing so many
screw holes that the otherwise straight hood and the sides
might as well be replaced. (Notice the convenient rust hole
in the fender giving access to the bolts.)
I slacked on
pictures, but here she is.
I
fabbed the side panels and now the sides are gone.
Below
we've got the sides welded on and the cleaned up for prime.
Now
its time to fit the fenders.
We
cut out the wells to clear the tires, then I rolled in the
edge for more of a factory looking fender.
All
the little parts are being cleaned up and sanded, primed,
then paint.
