Angela Dickerson

Angela Dickerson is an artist who works in such various mediums as painting, printmaking, sculpture, photography, and film. Most of Dickerson’s work is based on the organic; she then modifies these zoomorphic or plant-like shapes into images that represent objects or artifacts of self-invented primitive cultures. Her self-described neo-primitive style is strongly influenced by artists such as Eva Hesse and Arshille Gorky.
