Terms:

1/3 down at time of the order for all sizes over 5"x7"(non-refundable).
Remainder due at time of completion(prior to delivery).
Oil Animal Portrait work: Layout sketch, in the form of a cartoon, will be submitted to buyer prior to beginning of painting for changes and markings verification.
Artist's proof will be submitted at time of completion via E-mail.
Artist is not responsible for variations in color due to browser settings or photo processing.
Artist reserves the right of "Artistic license" for best composition of painting.
All Shipping, Insurance, applicipable taxes and Framing is the responsibility of the Buyer.

Refrence Photography:

The best paintings come from photo studies done by the artist.
Travel expenses and accomodations over 25 miles from Warrenton, Virginia are the responsibility of the buyer and will be added to the over all price.
All Photographs and Negitives becomes the property of the Artist.
If you choose to supply reference photography the artist cannot return your photos.

Please do not send original one of a kind photography.

Note: Most owners of performance animals have a large collection of photography; however on occasion the Artist does offer for sale select photos from reference shoots. Please e-mail the Artist for more information on this.

Time Frame:

Please Allow 4 to 6 months for completion of Oil paintings from time of cartoon approval. Graphite and watercolor work may take from 6 to 8 weeks or longer depending on size and content.

Payment Method:

Payment may be made through Paypal using any major credit card or personal checks.
Note to first time users of Paypal there is a spending limit of $1,000 for all first time users.
L.L. Martin also accepts USP0 money orders and Cashiers checks.
Virginia Residents Must add 4.5% Sales Tax to all orders.
International purchases must be made in U.S. Funds only.

Shipping and Delivery

Once your work of Fine Art is completed and the artist has e-mailed you a representation of the final product. Please contact her with Delivery Instructions

Works of Art are generally shipped with in 5 to 7 working days after recipt of payment
As a general rule Watercolors and Graphite works are delivered priority Mail.
Larger Works are delivered via Fed-Ex.
Persons residing within 25 miles of Warrenton, Virginia can arrange pick-up and avoid delivery charges.

Refund Policy: No refunds on Oil paintings. All sales final upon delivery. Watercolor Painting and Graphite sales are final upon receipt of money.

Rights of Use:The artist reserves all rights of use of final image for promotional purposes. Should the buyer decide to reproduce the image for resale the artist reserves the right of artistic and creative approval plus a 2% royalty going to the artist for all reproduction sales of any kind using the image in part or whole. Other than here in stated once payment is made the copyright of a commissioned work belongs to the buyer.
