OCTOBER'S WINNER IS ERIN...HERES HER STORY...
Just the other night as I was going to bed, my phone rang. I raced to the phone, like always, and picked it up. There was no answer. "Hello?" I repeated. Nobody was there. I set the phone down and went to bed. Now, which was a Saturday, I'm babysitting my little sister. I always helped around the house as much as I can. "Maggie! I'm bored. I don't want to color any more." Emma (my sister) said whining. Just then the phone rang. My sister raced to the phone. "Emma!" I called. "Let me get it." Ugh... a 5 year old kid can be so much work! I thought as I grabbed the phone out of her hand. "Hello?" I said into the phone. A deep voice came on the phone and said "I...want..." "Yes? Who is this." I said "Hello?" He hung up. There was a knock on the door. "Emma come here!" I said. "Emma!" I turned to the front door. The door was open. "EMMA!" I screamed. I breathed heavier and heavier. I ran up and down the stairs. "EMMA!" I cried. I searched the whole house. My parents weren't home. It had been a day now, and Emma is nowhere to be seen. I cried so hard. I'm still crying. Just then the phone ringed. I screamed and jumped. I didn't dare answer it. Just then the answering machine went on. The person was leaving a message! "Hi. This is the police. I am here to inform you that your parents were murdered last night. I am awfully sorry to tell you this. We will be here around 2 pm to pick you up." I hope u like it!
