Hi, guys! If you're here, it's probably because I sent you this link, since I haven't been able to stop talking about this project. I finally took some in-progress photos, and slapped them up on this page so that you can get an idea of what I've been talking about.

Keep in mind that these are not finished artworks (with an exception of the ceramic Mark H. That was a piece from last semester). I could tell you a million things wrong with each piece displayed, but if you'd like to offer your own constructive criticism, feel free to let me know. Lol...

This semester (my final one), I've chosen a group of musicians who I've either performed with, or have been inspired by, to depict in my artwork. For my painting class, I'm showing these people playing whatever instrument they're known for. In ceramics, I made some doodles, and am doing the pieces from the doodles, rather than the photos. In the drawing class, I'm doing portraits so that the viewer has a clearer idea of what the musician looks like.

The entire body of work will consist of at least 30 pieces in all. I have a show scheduled for the last week in April, and will be having an opening reception. Postcards will be sent once the details are ironed out. If you'd like to receive a postcard, please make sure I have your address.

I hope to keep this updated as the work progresses. Please let me know your thoughts.
Thanks for stopping by! :)

-Kristin
