Name: Nancy Farmer AKA: Crystalyn Octuris, Keindra Talem Race: Human Age: 107 (ya you heard me) Occupation: Paladin Games: Everquest, Shadowbane, any FF game, Chrono Cross, just about any rpg, really. Hobbies: First and foremost, doing anything at all with my husband, Patrick. Art, obviously, trivia games, reading, writing, chatting with my friends, anime, wrestling, video games.. hmm.. should be enough, lol. Anime/TV: Anime is still kind of new for me, but I like Inuyasha, Yu Yu Hakasho, Record of Lodoss War, Tenchi, and I'm planning on watching others to see how I like them. I also watch CSI, and I love going to the movies!! Books: Dragon Lance books, Forgotton Realms Books, Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordon, basically most fantasy and some sci fi, and I love a good murder mystery. Tools: I use a mechanical pencil, and regular art pencils, a smudger, ball point pen, uniball pen, watercolors, acryllics, and good ole Photoshop 7 and Paintshop Pro 7. Music: Let's see, I listen to mostly alternative and metal, like System of a Down, Ultraspank, Finger Eleven. Classical music, anime soundtracks, rpg soundtracks, and that's really about it, although my fiance is a huge Led Zeppelin fan, so I have to listen to that at times. Not that I don't like it.. it's good stuff :P About Me: I've been drawing off an on for about 10 years, I guess. Started off with easy stuff, and tried to find my way around. My paintings are all free style, the landscapes at least. I started drawing anime about a year or so ago, and I'm still learning that area of the art. I love it though. I also love taking pics and altering them, as you'll see with some of my stuff. I don't do that much now, since I've discovered I love doing my own stuff better. Did I mention that Heidi is my best friend? I've known her for about 3 years now. And can't forget my husband Patrick!! I love you!! |

Games: Everquest, Final Fantasy Games, Chrono Trigger/Cross, Zelda, Lunar 1 and 2, Legend of Legaia, basically RPG games =D Anime/TV: He-Man and She-Ra! Sailor Moon, Tenchi, InuYasha, Card Captor Sakura, Digimon, Record of Lodoss War, Vampire Hunter D, Evangelion, Gundam Wing, Third Watch, Buffy the Vampire Slayer WWE RAW and Smackdown and much MUCH more. Books/Manga: Terry Brooks Magic Kingdom of Landover series, Dark Elf Trilogy, Daughter of the Drow, Lord of the Rings, Sailor Moon, Anything by CLAMP, Peach girl Tools: Plain ol' Bic mechanical pencils, Uniball Micro pens, and Crayola colored pencils, and a few prismacolors. And a set of standard watercolors. Last but not least my most important tool, my Pocket Crystalyn! (for those damned mistakes i made after inking and need a computer to fix) Music: Anything From Tori Amos to Tool to cheesy anime music to Slipknot to Elton John. (yes I know I'm weird) I started drawing at an early age, but then stopped until I was about 13 or 14 when I saw Sailor Moon on TV for the first time. I took as many art classes as I could in high school, but sadly during a move I lost almost my entire portfolio. But slowly and surely I've been building a new one. I will hopefully be going to college for art in the near future |
