Franklin Mint has produced a new series,
much to many collectors delight.
The first issued doll,a precious
"Princess Diana Portrait Baby Doll".
Issued in a dress similar to the one on
"Princess of Elegance" in the adult porcelain
series of Princess Diana dolls.
While this is not a true likeness,
the caricature is sweet as pie,
and just as addictive in its charm.
She comes with her Spencer tiara,
little slippers topped with rosettes,
a silk rose,and frilly undies.
She is a seated porcelain at 8 1/2" tall.

Then,rumors spread of another doll,
this was a series!The second Baby Diana,
"A Proper Little Princess",
boasts another dress made toddler-size,
the sweet sailor dress and hat,
with her purse and string of pearls!
