High Jumper

This is another great idea done by Robert...Robert has given me permission to write this tut and McMillan digital art has given me permission to use his work..therefore I would appreciate it if you would add his logo I'ts not essential but a courtesy to him

This

is all you will need

Open your supplies in PSP, open your font and shrink it to the task bar....of course you can use whatever font you want.... now I am going to put this on a white background because I had a lot of stray pixels from the tubing of the girl... and a lot of detail is left out by doing it transparent...you can do yours transparent if you like..

Close off all layers except the bottom layer which will be the background layer.... ..add a new layer......type your name...one letter at a time and each letter on it's own layer...size set at 36...unless you have a longer name than mine...style set at black and fill set at white...or choose your own colours...floating and antalias checked.... ...when all done stack the letters...close off background layer...close off any other layers that are open...layers>merge....re name text 1.. ....add another layer and type your name one more time....close off the background layer ....layers>merge...re name text 2.. with text 1 the active layer.... add an inner bevel

1)Duplicate and drag down....background.....text 1...lasso all but the bottom 2 letters and delete....duplicate and drag down ..girl 1... ........layers>merge....close off and re name

2)Duplicate and drag down....background......text 1...lasso all but the bottom 2 letters and delete....duplicate and drag down ..girl 2 ... ..........layers>merge....close off and re name

3)Duplicate and drag down....background....text 1...lasso all but the bottom 2 letters and delete....duplicate and drag down ..girl 2 ...place her close to the letters.. ......layers>merge....close off and re name

4)Duplicate and drag down...background......text 1...lasso all but the bottom 2 letters and delete....duplicate and drag down ..girl 2...place her going up the letters..

5)Duplicate and drag down ...background...text 1...lasso and delete all but first 2 letters... duplicate and drag down girl 2...have her going over the letters

6)Duplicate and drag down....background......text 1...lasso all but the bottom 2 letters and delete....duplicate and drag down ..girl 2...place her clearing the letters...

7)Duplicate and drag down....background......text 1...lasso all but the bottom 4 letters and delete....duplicate and drag down ..girl 2...place her 1/2 way down the letters letters.........layers>merge....close off and re name

8)Duplicate and drag down....background......text 1...lasso all but the bottom 4 letters and delete....duplicate and drag down ..girl 2...place her on the ground... ......layers>merge....close off and re name

9)Duplicate and drag down....background......text 1...lasso all but the bottom 4 letters and delete....duplicate and drag down ..girl 2...move her over about 1 length ......layers>merge....close off and re name

10)Duplicate and drag down....background......text 1...lasso all but the bottom 4 letters and delete....duplicate and drag down ..girl 1....mirror her... ........layers>merge....close off and re name

11)OK, now we start back...duplicate and drag down ...background...text 1...lasso and take off all but 4 letters... girl 2...image mirror...layers>merge...close off and re name

12)duplicate and drag down ...background...text 1...lasso and take off all but 4 letters... girl 2..image...mirror....move her ahead and up a bit....layers>merge...close off and re name

13)duplicate and drag down ...background...text 1...lasso and take off all but 4 letters... girl 2..image...mirror....move her about 1/2 way up the letters....layers>merge...close off and re name

14)duplicate and drag down ...background...text 1...lasso and take off all but 4 letters... girl 2..image...mirror....move her to the top of the letters....layers>merge...close off and re name

15)duplicate and drag down ...background...text 1...lasso and take off all but 4 letters... girl 2..image...mirror....move her on top of the letters....layers>merge...close off and re name

16)duplicate and drag down ...background...text 1... ..girl 2..image...mirror....move her clearing the letters...layers>merge...close off and re name

17)duplicate and drag down ...background...text 1..... girl 2..image...mirror....move her 1/2 way down the letters......layers>merge...close off and re name

18)duplicate and drag down ...background...text 1...... girl 2..place her on the ground........layers>merge...close off and re name

19)duplicate and drag down ...background...text 1.... girl 2... image mirror......move her over 1 length....layers>merge...close off and re name

20)duplicate and drag down ...background...text 1..... girl 1..move her about 1 length....layers>merge...close off and re name

20)duplicate and drag down ...background...text 1...delete all but first 4 letters girl 2. ....layers>merge...close off and re name

21)duplicate and drag down ...background...text 1... girl 3...image mirror...... ....layers>merge...close off and re name

28)duplicate and drag down ...background...text 1... girl 3...(you can use girl 2 here if you prefer)image mirror....place her with her foot on a letter... now with the text 1 highlighted....lasso some of the letters and move them...kinda like they have been kicked

.. ....layers>merge...close off and re name

29) Repeat last layer 1 more time but this time move the letters a little further down...and make sure you place the girl right on top of the girl on the previous layer........layers>merge

30) Duplicate and drag down...background....text 2...girl 1...place her close to your name....layers>merge

Now for the logo....click on the logo layer to highlight it....click on the copy tool... edit>paste as new image....ctrlc....open animation shop and ctrlv....

Now we will re size our image because it is huge...image...re size and I set mine at 300.. your choice here...take off all the x's and "save as"

Open AS and your graphic...now click on the logo to make it active and duplicate to the number of frames you have...edit >select all....click on your graphic...edit>select all edit>paste into selected frames....place it at the bottom

Edit >select all...animation properties set at 21... right click on frame 10...animation set at 100...right click on frame 20...animation set at 100...right click on frame 22 and 23...animation set at 50...right click on last frame animation set at 125...

All Done!!!

OK....edit>select all...file...export frames to PSP.....

Close off all layers except the top layer

By the way I learnt how to do this from a tut made by Popp...selections>select all... selections...contract by 5...selections invert....now flood fill 1 layer at a time...closeing off the previous layer... when all layers are flooded save as and repeat the animation frames...orrrrrrrrrrr... do this step after you have re sized your graphic and before you take it to AS

Now we are done
