"Mountain View"

This painting is a re-paint of the work, "Past and Gone," which I did some time ago and never really liked. I am a great admirer of the works af Alexandre Calame (Swiss) and Albert Bierstadt (American) who did such justice to the majesty of the Swiss Alps and the Rocky Mountains. Those majestic views led to this rendition of an idealized scene in the Tetons. The painting is a 24" x 36" oil on canvas, finished on February 13, 2009, and, with frame, is for sale for $2800.00.
