"Wapiti"

"Wapiti" was an earlier work entitled "Headed West," completed in 1986, when my style was very oriented to the work of Bill Alexander. It contained a great deal of knife work and was by all standards, interesting but rather primitively executed. For 19 years I have been displeased with the effort and decided to re-paint the composition. The result is what appears here. The painting is 40" x 30" and is for sale.
