Bob Bunce is an artist who primarily uses oil on canvas. He is currently developing a body of work with abstract urban landscapes as a theme. His work is highlighted with the use of hot color overtones combined with geometric collage. Bob's studio is located in the rural communuity of Dansville New York, yet his current works are developed around a vast urban vision, in which he states "City's are a nice place to visit,get inspiration, and display ones work, but I long to dwell in the country ". He shows his work locally and since his recent secular retirement, Bob plans to work full time on his projects,moving on to larger venues for display. In conjuction with his abstract landscapes, Bob also has built a large body of work in the Pollack style, featuring the use of bold color combinations, combined with geometric layering, all done in large scale.
