Beware fascination.
People take jobs, build careers in professions where they find some interest, some fascination. And when they turn into bad apples, very bad things occur. We have failure. We have psychotic worms infesting the people who have the opportunity to become heroes…well, not the janitor, wait, yes to the janitor. Janitors usually are loners unable to function in the real world in a social manner. In schools the children come to think these guys (they are usually male) are cool. So they achieve a heroic-lite status.
The firefighter may be an arsonist at heart. Who isn’t mesmerized by a full-throttle fire?
The priest, unable to have sexual relations with anyone, preys on those who have no voices.
The worms are screaming!!!!!!
