My Artwork
This page is a gallery of paintings and drawings dating back fifteen years. Some are recent abstractions, and others are student figure drawings done live in the studio years ago, when I was getting my art degree.
I work primarily in acrylics for my paintings because I like their immediacy and their quick-drying properties, and I use graphite, pastels, and colored pencils for my drawings. I am also capable of photorealism, and I have done several portrait paintings for a wide range of people.
My work has been called "expressionist" by some, and I do admire the work of Matisse, Modigliani, and Picasso, which explains some of the drastically exaggerated anatomy in my paintings.
