Step One:
You will need a cutting board and a small Knife. A pealer if you have one as well. |
|
Step Two:
Peel the skin from the cucumber, get off as much as you can. Some people will leave the skins on, but I find it easiest to eat without cucumber skins. Use a pealer if you are not skilled with a knife.

|
Step Three:
Cut the ends off the cucumber. If you haven't cut the cucumber in half to skin it, you should cut it in half now. It makes it much easier to handle. |
|
Step Four:
Cut into halves and quaters, this will make it much easier to remove the seeded insides. If you need to cut it smaller or have an easier to remove the centers, you are welcome to do that. |
|
Step Five:
Carefully cut out the inner seeds. I find it easiest to put my finger on the seeded side and slide the knife between my palm and my hand. |
|
Step Six:
Cut the cucumber into long thin strips. There is no reason to make them too thin, but having cube-like squareness is suggested. Size of the strips can be personal as you will be using many little strips to assemble a sushi wrap. |
