Rescued Friends
We have 8 wonderful pets, 3 of which I rescued. Here's their story...
Siam was a tiny kitten when my husband found him outside his job. He said he looks Siamese. I said--Bring Him Home! He did. Turned out he's a Siamese Sealpoint. That was 7 years ago! That made 3 cats, a lovebird named Max & a lab dog girl named Liberty. My first 2 cats are Mistygirl & Blueboy. Then came Gracie, Murdock, and now a Pomeranian pup we named Indiana Jones. They are our children!
Gracie showed up in the front yard in the middle of winter. Someone left her behind. She was already spayed and wearing a collar. I started feeding her outside. One day she finally let me pick her up. Then I brought her in the garage. The rest is history. That was 5 years ago!
Murdock is a wild morning dove that fell out of the nest. My Mother's dog almost got him. I scooped him up and took him home. I had to feed him with an eye dropper at first. That was over 4 years ago!

UPDATE: Jan 20, 2011 we lost our beautiful dog Liberty to a tumor....
