Calypso

About the text: this is a tribute to Jacques Cousteau (1910-1997), a man that carried Light to the Abyssal Mysteries of this world. Among many memorable things, he invented the "aqualung" (also called "scuba", from the abbreviature of "Self-Contained [Underwater] Breathing Apparatus"), investigated the deep waters of many locations on Earth, helped to spread the nature preservation notion and quit a French governamental post after France's government decision to continue nuclear weaponry tests. In his voyages, he used the well known oceanographic boat "Calypso", which symbol was a mermaid swimming by the side of a dolphin.

The mysteries of the underworld,
wonderful gems of the Nature,
composing the most colourful images,
recorded by his brave camera
to never fall in oblivion.
And now, the restless Researcher
have new waters to navigate,
taken away by the Sea.
