| Ryuko Gallery (For lack of anything else to call it as the series she is in is un-named as of right now) The story Ryuko stars in is one of my latest endeavors. The world is called Aermica, and consists of layers. Each layer is home to a different race. The world is at a point where racisim and prejudice run rampant; Half-Breeds and genetically deficient persons are inferior in all eyes. Ryuko is an adopted child, who doesn't quite fit into the society and structure of her layer. And to make it worse, she has what is considered a genetic defect there- her folded over ears. However, one day, she discovers she is actually from another layer, and that she is one of the last of her race. The rest of her people are encased in crystal, due to a power-hungry sorcerer who had a spell backfire on him, and sleeping silently until the day when someone will save them. And that person, by default, is Ryuko! Now she must collect all 8 Elemental Spheres scattered about the crystalline layer, free the people, and with the Legendary sword Yoake which is the key to the Elemental Spheres, defeat the sorcerer that did this in the first place. |
