Reason behind the name: Conni sounds like conscience.

Reason behind the brain: Conni has been one of my brains since the days of Bytamic. Her name has never changed, except in September 2007 when I removed the E from the end of her name. Now she is not part of Jans, because she has no twin. She is separate. When I first made this Jans website, I put Conni into Sakusha. But I (or Conni) couldn't live with having Conni not being her own person/brain. She is too significant. So now she is not in Sakusha or in Jans, but stands alone. She will not be referred to as a brain; instead she will just be called my conscience. I use conscience not meaning "the good angel who reminds me of my morals" but "the voice inside my head that makes rude comments." I made my own definition for conscience, because I don't know what else to call her to mean "voice inside my head." {Conni: Schizophrenic?} [boots out Conni] <-- example of Conni. I guess she's like the "id" in Freud's theory.
What Conni says in my head does not usually get spoken from my mouth, because tis rude. (Usually when I boot her out, I'm not allowing her to speak what she said in my head, but the above was just an example.) Besides being rude, her comments are sarcastic and funny--something you'd smirk at. She not only insults others, but me too. Despite that, I still find humor in what she says. Tis a good thing to be able to laugh at yourself.
Like Tales of Phantasia inspired me to create new brains, Asagiri no Miko inspired me to include Conni in my ever-growing list of personalities. Asagiri no Miko (Shrine of the Morning Mist) is a comedy shoujo anime. One of the main characters in it is a girl named Chika who is just like Conni. She is short, indifferent about most things, makes rude/sarcastic/honest comments that people don't really want to hear/admit. The anime makes fun of shoujo in a humorous way, and Chika even makes fun of one shoujo in particular--Sailor Moon. Chika suggested one of the other girls buy a Sailor Moon-looking bathing suit, and Chika's attack is "Lyrical Flash" which looks like Sailor Moon's "Moon Healing Escalation." This is a good example of Conni; Sailor Moon is one of my favorite anime, but Conni would still make fun of it; I'm not immune to Conni's criticism. Watching her in the anime would probably give you a better idea of how she is than my descriptions. I couldn't find many pix of Chika online, but here are the few I did find:
