Conclusion

By the end of your research, you should have a greater understanding of the mammal class of animals and the worlds in which these animals live. Also, you will have effectively learned how to work in groups to achieve a common goal. Remember mammals are, like all other forms of life, part of the world in which we live. It is important to recognize that, for we must learn to share our planet with all life and live together in harmony.Listed below are three thought provoking questions, chose one question to critically think about. Be prepared to share your thoughts. As a class we will analyze your thoughts and come up with explanations and solutions for each issue.

1. Based on your knowledge of mammals and the state of our earth today, which animals would you predict might become extinct in the future? Explain your prediction.

2. Because scientists have been working so hard to save animals that are nearly extinct, research an animal that is endangered. Explain what has been done to protect the species.

3. Explain the pros and cons of allowing hunters to kill deer during hunting season.
